Looking forward to Spring and the different vintage tool activities it brings. See my TOOL EVENTS for places I will be at.
The best bargain these days is a Stanley transitional plane in good condition. For some reason modern woodworkers don't realize what great planes they are. The wood bottom give less friction and is a very smooth working plane. Of course you have all the fine adjustments of a regular cast iron bench plane. If you would like to try one out I will have some at my upcoming events.
Here is a load of 300 hand saws I just got from a collector in the center of Philadelphia. I will be restoring them and selling them over the next 2 years. Lots of good saws on my eBay site.
Mostly Disston saws and most in good user condition. Just need cleanup and sharpening. This filled my pickup truck bed.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD USER SAW EMAIL ME. I will have plenty of hand sharpened saws at my upcoming events you can try out.
Presently I am offering most of my tool sales on eBay.
I have added some great quality sharpened handsaws in my eBay store. Check them out!

I have been selling antique & vintage tools on eBay since 1997 as TAKEADIP. I am a member of CRAFTS, the New Jersey antique tool club. After being the editor for a few years I am currently president of this club. I am also a member of Mid-West Tool Club & EAIA. I live on Lake Hopatcong in Northern NJ. It is the biggest lake in NJ being nine miles long. A recent interest is restoration of wood boats. My current boat is a totally restored 1954 custom runabout 17’ long. I attend many of the tool auctions here around New Jersey. I hope we can meet some day and discuss your interests in antique tools.
